Finally the Catholic community welcomes the new Pope. I was one of the many billion people around the world waiting for the result and finally it came to be Father Jorge Bergoglio from Argentina. Pope Francis I, his new name, is a Jesuit priest and who is famous with high regards for the poor. He is the 266th elected pope and believed to continue the works what the previous pope has started.
I know how much expectation placed on him after he was elected pope early this morning, Philippine time. May he remain strong to face the challenge that he will be facing.
